Tributes, Donations Pour In After Unexpected Death Of Beloved Maryland Dad Of 3 At 31

Daniel William Sears died Friday, Feb. 9, his obituary says. He was 31.

Daniel attended Lansdowne High School and worked in the construction industry, according to his Facebook page. He lived in Baltimore at the time of his passing.

Daniel is survived by his cherished parents, Thomas and Sandra Sears; his three loving children, Breanna, Kya, and Aubrey; his caring sister, Nicole and her spouse William; and many extended family members and close friends.

Meanwhile, just under $5,000 had been raised on a GoFundMe launched for Daniel’s funeral expenses as of Tuesday, Feb. 13.

“Danny was an amazing dad, husband, brother and son,” reads the campaign. 

“He touched the lives of so many and it's very hard for us to ask anything from anyone but if you can help any way you can, we all from the entire ‘Sears Family’ appreciate it from the bottom our hearts.”

Tributes also flooded social media following Daniel’s sudden passing, several highlighting his sense of humor and upbeat, spirited personality:

“You were more than just a cousin you were also my little brother,” reads a post from Sundeep Chona. “I know you will watch over all of us.”

Daniel’s memorial is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 16 at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne.

“Thank you for coming into my life and thank you for being the light in my life,” reads a comment on the fundraiser. “You will be missed.”
