Officials attended the run, including Mayor Michael Cindrich and Village Trustee Jean Farber along with Linda Cooper, the Taconic Regional Director of the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, representing Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Tim Kuklis was the overall leader, finishing the run in 17 minutes and 28 seconds, while Jenna Holt was the top finishing woman at 20 minutes and 19 seconds.
Sponsors included Sinapi’s Bagels in Mount Kisco, who donated bagels to participants; Mario’s Pizza & Pasta, who offered wood-fire pizza; Tommie Copper, who donated prizes to the top three men and women; and Jeff Rosen of MTK Tavern, who offered everyone a place to hang out after the race.
Along with Kulis and Holt, Whitney Wasserman (22 minutes and three seconds), Jenny Antonaccio (23:31), Noe Gonzalez (18:36) and Greg Loeb (19:43) all earned prizes
For the first time, team registration was allowed and 14 teams signed up, including teams from Northern Westchester Hospital, Westchester Achilles and Neighbor’s Link.
Run organizers also requested that runners/walkers bring food donations for the Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry.
